The characters of Gabby and Debby come from the Israeli educational series "Let's Learn English," which is where all of those other people referenced at the beginning of the song are from. Also you can see several other references throughout the video to this being from TV. The magic stick allowed Gabby and Debby to travel anywhere and anytime, as long as they had a map of that location.

I started learning Hebrew 7 months ago and this is what I could do with what I learned those 7 months and a little help of the google translater. So I'm sure there are mistakes in my translation. Feel free to correct me. I made this video and placed it on youtube because I want to learn from my mistakes. Just be a little nice ;) I know in the end, in one sentence it says 'lookin' instead of 'looking'. I did this because otherwise the sentence didn't fit ;)

Very harsh & sad song about the Holocaust tragedy that occur to the jewish nation. The specific song it an influence of Balkans/Greece jewish music. Its a memorial song to the jewish sacrifice & all the victims in Europe. The story of the creator tell us of a kid that said to his mother, "and if you are driving, where you drive? the eternity is only ash & dust. Where are you driving? years and nothing yet not erased". Its a painful allegory particular to the old Greece jewish community that vanish totally, 80,000 jews send to a terrible dead may they rest in peace. The remains rise to Israel minority stay in Greece, today living in Greece 5300 jews.
