I rarely get out to cocktail parties, but on the rare occasion I do and people find out I’m a 
novelist, there’s usually a moment when someone will tell me about the idea for a book they are going to write someday. I was once one of those people, although I was more internalized about my writing ambitions. But I thought about writing for well over a decade before giving myself the permission to do it.

Greenwich is synonymous with the good life, so it may come as a surprise that many among us lack the resources to exit the front door. I'm talking about our older adult population, the bubbies and zaydies who long served the community and now need a basic service in return. Whether they're having trouble with physical mobility or transportation, these senior citizens are unable to get out and complete their daily tasks. So how can they go grocery shopping? While Greenwich has all the tools and hands needed to help older adults get around the neighborhood, many seniors are shut in their apartments with Stop & Shop commercials as the closest they come to a deli counter.
