Aux Délices is not a new eatery, but ever since it discovered freedgoodsco, you have a fresh excuse to go. It's one of several local establishments to stock the recently-launched brownie and blondie line from Greenwich-based Stephanie Norton.

freedgoods are decadent desserts with a twist: they're wheat- and gluten-free. But judging by the passionate responses they evoke ("evil good," to name but one), less must be more. Finally gourmets with celiac disease or wheat, gluten and yeast issues have delicious organic alternatives to the healthy cardboard they've settled for till now.

Stephanie concocted freedgoodsco after learning that her unceasing headaches and digestive and respiratory ills were caused by intolerance to wheat, gluten and yeast. And that's not all: the lawyer-turned-stay-at-home-mom-turned-baker later realized that her early battle with infertility may have been due to an immune response to wheat and gluten.

So 5 percent of freedgoods profits go toward infertility education, research and treatment. Indulge your sweet tooth, and you're supporting this worthy cause.

You can order online at freedgoods.com or head over to the Connecticut and New York establishments listed on the site. Now your only problem is, Chocolate coconut, chocolate walnut, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate...?
